For those of us that travel for extended time, staying connected to Family & Friends is important.

Well, and streaming some Music or watching a movie..

This is what I'm doing. Sorry to say 'My Plan' is no longer available..

I'm on AT&T. I have the unlimited plan which includes Direct TV (AT&T now owns Direct TV).

Canada & Mexico are considered local, yet if in those areas for extended times, there is an additional charge.

Believe that to be true with all carriers

(check the fine print on your contract)

I did buy a YAGI antenna and a signal booster, but really only took it out twice so far in Canada when I had very little signal. It did help, just not as much as I had hoped.

For the most part, I had either cell or WIFI everywhere we went. That surprised me and was very pleased.

Considering we Boon-dock quite a bit!!

Would I suggest you buy a YAGI, Booster, cable (and all else that you require..) ,not really.

I bought in for just under $200, not bad to test out.

If you do go this way, you can buy last years model's (as I did) and really save some money.

Read the spec's on what your buying, no the signal range you need for you cell and insure it will receive the WIFI band!

Not all antenna's do..

I will bring it along on the next run into the Southwest and see how it does there. Maybe I'll change my opinion..
